the problem

Which campaigns should you grow and which should you stop?

Each campaign gets judged inside its own platform. A Meta campaign can look weak on its own and still drive 40% of your Google conversions. You cannot see that from inside Meta.

How askotter handles it

askotter reads Stripe and Klaviyo side by side, so it can improve campaigns using numbers from every connected account.

A person checks the result before it reaches you. This is part of our Google Ads management work.

matching the records

How Stripe and Klaviyo records line up

Stripe and Klaviyo both store the customer's email address. askotter lowercases and trims it on both sides before matching, so the same person shows up as one customer across the two tools.

Shared between the two: the customer email address.

What campaign optimization uses from each

Campaign optimization needs cost on one side and outcome on the other.

From Stripe that means revenue and refunds per customer. From Klaviyo it means clicks and placed orders by campaign.

Klaviyo is on the integration roadmap, so the matching described here starts when that connector ships.

What each tool sees on its ownShow less

Stripe on its own

Stripe knows the payment, the amount and the customer's email. It has no record of the ad, search or email that brought the customer in.

Timing. Stripe records each charge, refund and failed payment as it happens. Payouts land on a schedule days later, so charge date and payout date differ.

Access. A restricted, read-only Stripe API key, or Stripe Connect.

Klaviyo on its own

Klaviyo sees who received, opened and clicked. It credits revenue by its own attribution window and cannot see sales that happen off the store it is connected to.

Timing. Klaviyo logs sends, opens and clicks as events. Apple Mail Privacy Protection preloads images, so open counts run high and clicks are the steadier signal.

Access. A Klaviyo private API key with read-only scopes.

questions

Questions about Stripe + Klaviyo

Do I need a developer to connect Stripe and Klaviyo?

No. Most accounts connect with a sign-in, and the rest take a file export.

How is askotter's Campaign Optimization different from what Stripe shows on its own?

Stripe only sees its own numbers. askotter reads Stripe and Klaviyo together and can answer the question: Which campaigns should you grow and which should you stop?
