You send one link. We do the rest.
No questionnaire to fill in on a Sunday night, no stock-photo library to pick through, no six-week discovery call series. Hand over your URL or a sentence about the business, and the first full draft is back the same day.
Who builds a done-for-you website for a small business?
askotter builds and then operates the site, which is the part most done-for-you offers leave out. The handoff from the business is a URL or one sentence describing what it does, and askotter's agents read the existing site or generate a first draft from that description the same day.

Launch is typically five to ten working days from approval, and an existing site is migrated with its URL structure preserved and redirects written where an address has to change. After launch the monthly price covers the SEO, the AI search visibility, the content and any change the owner asks for by text, with a person reviewing each change before it publishes. Managed plans are $600/mo, or $1,000/mo with Google and Meta ads run by askotter's team. A business that wants a one-off custom-designed site with no ongoing relationship is better served by a freelance designer.
- What you send
- A URL, or one sentence about what the business does and who it serves. Logos and photos are welcome and are not required.
- Time to launch
- First full draft the same day. Typically five to ten working days to live, most of which is the owner reviewing copy.
- Existing site
- Migrated at no extra cost. URL structure preserved, redirects written where an address has to change, old site live until approval.
- After launch
- Monthly SEO, AI search visibility, content, and unlimited change requests by text. A person reviews each change before it publishes.
- Price
- $600/mo managed, $1,000/mo managed with paid channels. No setup fee. Month to month.
- Not for
- One-off custom design with no ongoing service, online stores needing cart and checkout, or businesses needing a custom web application.
The whole brief fits in a text message.
The reason done-for-you rarely feels done for you is the intake: a 40-field form, three rounds of asset chasing, and a content questionnaire that asks you to write the copy you were paying someone else to write. None of that happens here.
Required: one link, or one sentence
If you have a site, the URL is the brief. The agents read every page, your services, your hours, your area. If you do not, a sentence about what you do and who you do it for is enough to generate the first draft.
Helpful: your logo and real photos
Send them if you have them and the site uses them. If you do not have them, the site launches without them and they can be dropped in by text later. Nothing waits on an asset hunt.
Helpful: analytics access
Connecting Google Analytics and Search Console sharpens the read on which of your existing pages are worth keeping. It takes two clicks and it can be done after launch instead.
Not required: copy, layout decisions, a content plan
These are the job. You get a finished draft to react to rather than a blank document to fill in. Reacting to something concrete takes an owner minutes; writing from scratch takes weeks.
Days, counted in working days.
These are the figures askotter plans against. The step that moves is nearly always the review, because it is the only one waiting on somebody with a business to run.
| Attribute | What happens | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Day 0 | The URL or the sentence arrives. The agents crawl the existing site or generate the first draft. | Send one link. |
| Day 0 to 1 | The first full draft is on a preview address. Your current site is untouched and still live. | Look at it. React in plain English. |
| Day 1 to 5 | Revisions. Copy, structure, services, photos, the booking or call flow. | Reply to what you want changed. No login, no editor. |
| Day 3 to 7 | Technical launch prep: every old URL crawled and mapped, redirects written, schema and analytics wired up. | Nothing. |
| Day 5 to 10 | Launch on your own domain. Old URLs redirect, domain email is untouched. | Say go. |
| Every month after | SEO, AI search visibility, content and reporting. Changes ship as you ask for them. | Approve what you want live. |
An ecommerce build is out of scope: cart, stock and checkout are in development and are not available. A site with thousands of existing URLs takes longer at the mapping step, and that is quoted before work starts.
We keep the pages that still bring in work.
A rebuild that throws away ten years of URLs is how businesses lose rankings they spent a decade earning. Before anything is rebuilt, every existing page is crawled and scored on what it actually does: traffic, rankings, and whether anyone converts on it.
Kept
Pages that rank, pages that bring traffic, pages people convert on, and the URLs attached to them. These are rebuilt on the same addresses so nothing that points at them breaks.
Rebuilt
Pages with the right subject and the wrong execution: thin service pages, a homepage that never says what town you are in, a contact page nobody can complete on a phone.
Retired, with a redirect
Pages nobody has opened in two years. They still get a permanent redirect to the nearest live page, so an old directory listing from 2019 lands somewhere real.
The full detail, including what happens to your domain email and which platforms can be moved, is on the website migration page.
What arrives every month, without being asked for.
This is the difference between a done-for-you build and a done-for-you service. A build ends at launch. The monthly price covers the work that decides whether the site earns anything.
The SEO loop
Keyword research, technical fixes, content, publishing and reporting, every month. The month-by-month breakdown says what ships when.
AI search visibility
Work on getting the business named when someone asks an assistant who to call, with a monthly report of which prompts returned you.
Changes by text
Prices, hours, a new service, a seasonal offer. You describe it, you get a preview, a person checks it, and it publishes on your reply. Watch one go through.
A report you can check
Pulled from your own Google Search Console and Analytics rather than a tool we control, with every change we made listed and timestamped beside it.
What the rebuilds did, across the book.
Measured on one matched pair of 90-day windows in each client's own Google Search Console rather than in a tool askotter controls: organic clicks grew +16% on average per client, and the number of pages earning impressions grew +323% on average.
Those are averages of each client's own percentage change, the spread behind them is wide, and some clients declined over the same window. The cohort size, the inclusion rules, the median alongside the mean and the count of clients that grew against those that declined are all on the methodology page.
Client results are published anonymised by sector. askotter does not name a client without written permission, and no named case study is published here until one is in hand.
One monthly price, no build fee.
The build is not billed separately, because the build is not where the value is. There is no setup fee and no migration fee, and the plan is month to month.
You drive the builder and ship the changes Whiskers suggests. The platform does the analysis.
