Most lower back pain improves with the right exercise and a plan for staying active, and research supports starting physical therapy early. Your evaluation screens for warning signs, tests how you bend and lift, and sets a few exercises that ease the pain in the first week.
You do not need a referral or imaging to start. If you have numbness in the groin area, loss of bladder or bowel control, or weakness that is getting worse, go to an emergency room.
What is included
- Start without a referral or an MRI
- Warning-sign screening at every evaluation
- Lifting and desk plans for work
- Packages of six visits for $510 cash
Common questions
Is rest better for back pain?
Short rest helps in the first day or two. After that, gentle movement usually helps more, and we show you which movements are safe.
Will it come back?
It can. The last visits of your plan focus on what to do when it flares, so you can handle it at home.
