Panel upgrades

Breakers that trip, an old fuse box or no room for new circuits. Done in one day with power back by evening.

Older 60 and 100 amp panels were never sized for heat pumps, induction ranges and a car in the garage. A 200 amp upgrade gives you room for all three. We replace the panel, breakers, grounding and meter base, and coordinate the disconnect with the utility.

Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels are a known fire risk, and many insurers now ask about them. If you have one, we can replace it on the same schedule as a standard upgrade. The price includes the permit, the utility coordination and the inspection.

Common questions

How do I know if I need a panel upgrade?

Breakers that trip often, a panel that is warm to the touch, a fuse box, or plans for an EV or heat pump are the usual signs. Send a photo of the panel and we will tell you.

Do I need to be home all day?

Someone needs to let us in and be around at the end for the walkthrough. Most people leave for the middle of the day.
