Sample site. Hollis Plumbing is an invented business, and every name, price and review here is invented too.
Why it is built this way ▾

The features a site in this trade needs. Each one is working somewhere on this sample:

  1. Emergency stripOne tap to call from any page, with the 24-hour hours stated so nobody has to wonder.
  2. Shut-off instructionsTelling people how to stop the water before selling them anything earns trust, and it is the passage AI assistants quote most.
  3. Flat-rate pricingThe fear is an open-ended bill, so drain clearing, leak detection and water heaters carry printed prices.
  4. Job price finderPicking the problem and the timing shows a range up front, including the after-hours surcharge.
  5. License and insuranceThe master plumber license number sits in the hero and the footer, where New Jersey requires it anyway.
  6. Named service areaListing the towns wins local searches in each one and cuts calls from outside the area.

Emergency plumbing

Burst pipes, overflowing toilets and water coming through the ceiling, any hour.

Before anything else, shut off the main water valve. Turn it clockwise; it is usually where the water line enters the house, in the basement or near the street. Then open the lowest tap in the house to drain the line, and photograph the damage before you move anything so your insurer has a record.

Call us and a licensed plumber is on the way, usually within 90 minutes. We give you the price before we start. After hours and weekends carry a published surcharge, which we tell you on the phone so the bill holds no surprises.

What is included

  • Answered live, 24 hours a day
  • Plumber on site in about 90 minutes
  • Price agreed before any work starts
  • Photos and a written report for your insurance claim

Common questions

I cannot find my main shut-off. What now?

Check where the water line comes through the basement or crawlspace wall, then look for a curb box near the street. If you still cannot find it, turn off the valve under the leaking fixture and call us; we will talk you through it on the phone.

Will my homeowner's insurance cover this?

Sudden bursts are usually covered and slow leaks often are not. We give you dated photos, a written cause and an itemized invoice to file with your claim.
