Termite treatment

Mud tubes on the foundation, swarmers on a windowsill, or soft wood that sounds hollow.

Subterranean termites are the ones that cause most of the damage in this part of North Carolina. A spring swarm of winged insects near a window, or pencil-width mud tubes running up the foundation, are the two signs people notice first.

A full liquid barrier treatment for an average home runs $1,250 to $2,400, depending on the foundation length and whether there is a crawlspace. Bait stations start at $1,100 installed. Both come with a termite bond you can renew for $59 a month on the Termite plan, which includes an annual re-inspection and retreatment if they return.

Common questions

Are flying ants and termite swarmers the same thing?

They look alike. Termite swarmers have straight antennae, a thick waist and four wings of equal length. Save a few in a bag and we will identify them on the inspection.

Does a termite bond cover damage?

Our bond covers retreatment at no charge if termites return. Repair coverage is a separate option we explain on the inspection, with the price in writing.
