Common questions
Does insurance cover implants?
Many Delta Dental, Cigna and MetLife plans cover part of the crown and sometimes part of the implant. We check your plan before treatment and give you the out-of-pocket figure in writing.
Does it hurt?
Placement is done under local anesthetic, and most patients describe the next few days as sore more than painful. Over-the-counter pain relief is usually enough.
What if I do not have enough bone?
The scan shows that at your first visit. If you need a bone graft, we price it separately, usually $450 to $900, before you commit to anything.
